Frequently Asked Questions

This is my first time having a 1:1 session, what should I expect?

It is perfectly normal to have a mixture of curiosity, excitement, scepticism, and even fear before engaging with a coach or therapist for the first time.

This is especially true if you come from a family or a culture that stigmatises self-help.

Perhaps you’ve been parented to be strong or not express emotion, which could contribute to feelings of fear.

We understand.

We have served thousands of people from all walks of life and different backgrounds. There is no story, personal challenge, background or ailment that we have not, with compassion, heard. You are not unusual or alone, and support is in place for you.

During the session, your coach will move at your rhythm and at a comfortable pace.

In a Bustle article, Josh Klapow writes:
“Talking to a qualified mental health professional is an experience like no other. It is a time for you to be vulnerable, be honest, be expressive, explore your challenges and deal with challenges that many of us keep to ourselves. All with a trained professional guiding you through. If you are suffering, you need to talk to a qualified mental health professional. It could change your life.”

It may be the case that you’ve had a poor experience in the past or it didn’t meet your expectations. We have learned that finding the right support is much like finding the right outfit, it can take a little shopping around. Sometimes, it is possible to stumble upon the perfect thing right away, and it is also normal if this is not the case. This is why trying out different coaches is straightforward, you do not need to inform your coach that you are moving on. Keep an open mind and try different people if there is no chemistry there. Wishing you a transformational onward journey and we are here to support you if you have any questions!

Is this confidential? Will you share my info with my company?

Yes, it is confidential, and no we will not share your information/name or that you personally have used the services.

We are an independent company contracted by your company. All your information is kept 100% confidential and not shared with ANY third parties.

Our operation is HIPPA compliant.

For the group sessions, do I need to join on camera?

The good news is that these groups are informal, you will never be called on personally to share anything that is not comfortable to you. You are welcome to join via camera or audio. You’re also not obligated to answer any questions.

If you are comfortable, there will be invitations throughout the session to share personal experiences and to engage in the dedicated Q+A segment of the session – you can do this by unmuting your mic, or typing in the chatbox.
How many group sessions are there?

There are a minimum of 3 weekly groups across different time zones so all your team can join.

Can I change my coach/therapist if it's not working out?

Of course! Simply book in with somebody else, you do not need to inform your coach just head to the booking page right here:
