For Communities
Support for communities living with violence and loss.
Where violence and loss are part of daily life, support has to meet people where they already are. We work with community organisations, public health departments and grant funded programs to deliver practices, training and licensed practitioners.
Built for
The people this is built for.
- Community organisations and non profits
- Public health and county behavioural health teams
- Violence intervention and outreach workers
- Youth, family, and school based programs
Where we help
The moments that have an impact.
How it works
Guided practices, not a content library.
Nobody has to work out where to start. The session begins by asking where the person is today, then follows that. If they come back after months away, it asks again.
Role specific practices
Written around the exposures of this work, not general wellbeing advice.
- After a loss in the neighbourhood
- Supporting outreach workers who witness violence
- Holding a community through a vigil week
- Practices for young people exposed to harm
Role specific training
CPD accredited training for leaders and the teams they look after.
- Trauma informed community leadership
- Vicarious trauma for outreach and frontline workers
- Group facilitation for grief and loss
Human support
Licensed practitioners for coaching, therapy and debriefs, booked in the same place.
- One to one sessions
- Group debriefs
- Practitioner matching
Crisis intervention
A licensed practitioner can host a group session within 24 hours.
After a shooting, a death or a community wide event, we can have a licensed practitioner host a group session for the people most affected within 24 hours, with follow up for anyone who wants it. We work inside government and grant funded delivery models.
Group sessions to talk it through and debrief together, with follow up support afterwards for anyone who wants it.
